In 2006, Andy decided to return to Germany and join Oxymoron Dance Company, based in Potsdam/Berlin. The company is known for its innovative approach to dance, combining contemporary dance with ballet, hip hop, breakdance, and theater, and incorporating multimedia elements into their performances. In 2016, Andy made the difficult decision to cut back on his dance performance and teaching activities due to health reasons. However, he refused to let this setback hold him back from his love of the arts. Instead, he began exploring other art forms, including photography and poetry, and began to develop his own unique artistic style.

Andy’s photography is a reflection of his passion for nature and his love of capturing fleeting moments of beauty in the world around us. His poetry is deeply personal and introspective, exploring themes of love, loss, and transformation.

In 2021, Andy launched, a platform that showcases his art and serves as a hub for his creative projects. The site includes a portfolio of his photography, a selection of his poetry, and updates on his latest projects.

This is a new beginning which will grow into something from a dancers’ heart.

“At heart I will always be a dancer, moving through life with the grand curiosity of a child. Exploring an everlasting amount of creativity inspired by life and beyond. I cannot foresee where I will go, nor where it all ends. Whatever it turns out to be: May it be beautiful. Meaningful. May it be of you.
